AFM imaging of nanostructure polypyrrole doughnuts shapes fabricated by direct electrochemical oxidation

摘要
The formation of nanostructures with doughnut polypyrrole (Ppy) shapes by direct electrochemical oxidation is described. Nanostructure doughnut Ppy shapes with approximately 150 nm height and 250 nm width according to controlled electropolymerization were observed by AFM imaging. In addition, we discovered a lot of well-ordered Ppy doughnuts shapes exist on surfaces. Amperometric current-time reaction controlled the formation of nanostructure doughnut shapes. These doughnuts shapes fabricated by this simple method can be applied with efficient alignment and will be useful in the biotechnology and proteomic fields. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
