摘要
A microporous metal-organic framework, Zn(3)(OH)(L)(2.5)(DMF)(4) 1 (L = 2,5-dichloro-1,4-benzenedicarboxylate and DMF = N,N'-dimethylformamide) of a rare five-connected (4(4))(6(6)) topology was synthesized and structurally characterized. The de-solvated phase is thermally stable up to 350 degrees C, thus activation of this new MOF material at different temperatures of 150 and 300 degrees C under high vacuum formed two microporous materials 1a and 1b, respectively, exhibiting selective gas adsorption behavior with respect to H(2)/N(2) and O(2)/N(2), and CO(2)/CH(4) and CO(2)/N(2).
